PLACING AN ORDER

  • All our products are made upon request and require full payment prior commencing any manufacturing. There are minimum completion times for all our products (specified in our website and brochures).

  • Completion times may vary depending on the type and quantity of product required, as well as our production capacity when placing an order. Lead times for some orders may need to be agreed and accepted by us and the client prior commencing any manufacturing.

  • Please take the time to check the Technical Specifications and Conditions of our products (specified in the Product section of our website) before placing an order.

WARRANTY

  • Our products offer a two (2) year structural warranty from the date of purchase. Warranty terms are accepted by the consumer upon request or purchase of any of our products through our website, direct sale or an authorised distributor.

  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund for product defects or major failure at our discretion, and compensation for any other reasonably probable loss or damage. The consumer must notify a potential warranty claim in writing and confirm acceptance before any procedure. The consumer needs also to provide Proof of Purchase.

  • Slight variances in the materials are characteristic of our products, but you are entitled to have reparation or replacement if the product fail to be of acceptable quality.

  • All our products are suitable for indoors only and must be installed by a qualified person as per our product instructions.

  • Our warranty will not cover the following:

    • Products that have been altered by a third party without our consent.

    • If our products are not used, handled and maintained as intended.

    • If a replacement light globe is not similar to the recommended by us in terms of characteristic and wattage.

    • If the product is not installed by a qualified person when required.

    • Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, negligence, alteration or misuse.

    • Any costs associated with servicing product. It is the consumer’s responsibility to cover any cost of delivering a product back to George Criollo Design, unless it is a faulty product.

  • George Criollo Design will not be liable for any damages suffered in an event or matter beyond its control as a result of use, assembly, installation or breach of warranty of our products.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping Policy – Australia

  • Delivery is not included in the price of our products.

  • We offer free delivery of any of our products within Adelaide Metro area. Allow 1 to 2 days to receive your product after dispatch.

  • An extra cost will be charged for delivery within South Australia (excluding Adelaide Metro area). Allow 2 to 5 business days to receive your product after dispatch.

  • An extra cost will be charged for delivery to all other Australian states. Allow a minimum of 2 business days to receive your product after dispatch.

  • Delivery cost may vary depending the type and quantity of products. This cost will be notified to and accepted by the consumer prior shipment. A delivery tracking number will be provided.

  • Due to the character of our products, signature is required upon delivery. If nobody can sign, a consignment card will be left to allow consumer to arrange redelivery or pick up of the goods.

  • Should the consumer want to organise their own delivery arrangements, it needs to be notified, discussed and accepted by us prior dispatch.

  • All shipments are not insured by default. You can opt to purchase insurance for your delivery by contacting us directly. We are unable to replace any product that is damaged in transit.

  • George Criollo Design products are available in Australia only.

Returns

  • Please take the time to inspect your purchased product for any damages or defects. Any return enquire must be notified in written to us prior taking any action.

  • If you are not satisfied with the quality of the item you may return it within 14 days from delivery date in order to receive full refund of the purchase price, excluding any delivery costs. We do not accept returns due to change of mind.

  • Any return must be properly packaged and sent back to us at the customer’s expense. We strongly recommend to insure the returned package as we are unable to refund the cost of damaged components in transit.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

  • All our products incorporate high quality materials and natural finishes. We recommend some extra care to maintain the beautiful appearance of the product. Use a damp, soft cloth to clean timber or metal surfaces. Glass components are especially susceptible to damage, so please treat them with care and precaution. Use a soft cloth of soft dust brush to clean. You may use household glass cleaner to remove finger marks.

  • Avoid placing and exposing the product to direct sun light, humidity or heat as they may affect the look and behaviour of some materials and components in the lamp.

  • Materials such as timber or metal naturally vary depending the external conditions, and may discolour with the time. Due to the unique character of the product these variations add to the appeal of the object and makes it your own.
